ABOUT THE KINETIC NOVEL

This is my 1st Kinetic Visual Novel. I created this story mainly because I wanted to learn how to use 3D software and RenPy. It was a lot of fun and I really grew fond of the main protagonists.
This is purely a hobby project and I don't want to earn any money with this Kinetic Visual Novel. It is completely free and will remain so. It's enough for me if there are perhaps a few people somewhere who like this story and I can make them happy with it.
When I look at the beginning of this story, I would do a lot of things differently these days, or stage them differently, because I have learned so much now. Especially dealing with the right lighting for the individual scenes was a hard piece of learning. I also didn't want to use prefabricated lighting sets, but rather learn how to position the light sources correctly myself. I think I gradually got the lighting better and more atmospheric from the middle of this Kinetic novel, even if I'm still a long way from perfection.

I've added small changes from the 2nd chapter onwards. For example, John gets new textures and Suzi gets new fingernails.
I decided not to redo older rendered images from the beginning of the story. In the meantime, I could do one or two things better. But on the other hand, the development of the whole story and my learning achievements are thus also visually comprehensible. And I hope to motivate people who are also new to this field and perhaps intend to create a visual novel themselves. It's fun and it's nice to see your own progress.

ABOUT THE CONTENT

It's a love story between Suzi and John. Both run away from different things and tend to be outsiders. The rebellious Suzi has just come of age and suffers from her domineering mother's control mania. John, on the other hand, was Suzi's father Jakob's best friend as a child. When John's parents died in a house fire, he was adopted by Jakob's family at the age of eight. But John was never able to identify with this new family and disappeared when he finished school. Now 10 years have passed and Jacob has died. John is asked by Suzi's mother, Cora, to come over because he has inherited something. However, Cora and her lover, Buck, try to betray John. Suzi finds out about this and decides to help John. And even if the relationship between the two is rather difficult at first, they grow closer and closer over time...

IMPORTANT NOTE

This is a pure love story, with dramatic elements that I have tried to make funny and emotional. There are erotic scenes, yes. But there are NO sexual acts and no other pornographic content that is in any way repulsive or illegitimate. Likewise, there is no excessive depiction of violence. Of course, there are brief scenes in which someone is beaten, but this is extremely limited and only serves the context of the story.

The recommended age for this kinetic novel is 16 and up.
